Collaborative storytelling and worldbuilding.

Theater

Stories told with company

Participants step into an authored world as characters and help tell its stories as they unfold - dynamic, flexible, and different every time.

How a telling happens

You act. The world interprets. The story moves.

I.You act

Take on a character and customize it to your liking. Empty seats may be filled by the Engine, so a small group can still carry a full cast.

II.The world interprets

Ask, speak, or act as you choose - an interpreter grounded in the world and that character's place within it interprets your contribution and keeps it aligned. You decide which interpreted contributions to commit.

III.The story moves

The master narrator then weaves the committed actions into a shared passage in keeping with the story arc and world rules.

Curtain call

Canon stays with the worldbuilder

What happens on stage doesn't rewrite the world ... yet.

A Theater session is a telling made by its participants and the Engine. It remains apocryphal until the worldbuilder deliberately adopts something from it into canon.

From then on, the things you create may become part of the world.
